| Description: | Responsible for promoting sales and marketing strategies for the Parts and Service Departments to existing customers, as well as seeking new and potential opportunities for products and services provided. The successful candidate will have significant experience in sales positions that include new business development, customer retention and consultative technical support. This experience will have been acquired in automotive/truck/heavy equipment, diesel repair, power generation and/or parts aftermarket industries. |
| Duties: | Sales requiring minimum of 4.5 days per week promoting products and service outside of office environment. Constantly seek out new, existing and potential opportunities for our products. Call on on-highway and off-highway customers/fleets and Mines to promote the use of our products and services, genuine parts and our Service Department. Call on state, local and municipal governments to promote the use of our products and services, genuine parts and our Service Department. In addition, promote specification writing that eliminates use of non-genuine parts. Call on all potential customers with Fire pumps and Gen Sets to promote the use of service contracts. Review industry bid lists and pursue leads on upcoming bids. Call on the contractors who have received major bids for potential business. Work with Managers to develop marketing and sales strategies and promotions. Present a positive image of W. W. Williams and all the vendors we represent. Perform other duties as assigned. |

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. |
