| Description: | Immediate opportunity for an engine and bumper-to-bumper technician in our Dearborn, MI location. Candidate MUST have 5 + years of experience on Detroit Diesel Series-60 and MBE 4000 engines. Experience on MTU engines, Allison Transmission and/or bumper-to-bumper repairs on highway trucks preferred. Technician will repair, overhaul and maintain diesel engines used in the operation of trucks, generators, buses and other equipment. Candidate must be G2 certified and have own tools and reliable transportation. Position is located in Dearborn, Michigan. |
| Duties: | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following - other duties may be assigned. Performs accurate failure analysis and troubleshooting using sophisticated electronic diagnostic tools. Creates job repair plan based on diagnosis. Determines parts requirements to complete repair. Performs authorized repairs as assigned. Maintains own tool inventory adequate to perform assigned repairs. Develops accurate records of repairs performed and parts used to assist in the proper filing of warranty claims and/or customer invoices. Follows all safety and EPA regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area. |
