| Description: | Full-service distributor of transport refrigeration, and power generation systems has an opening for a Service Coordinator in its Lexington, KY operation. This position will direct and guides the service activities of vehicle and/or equipments repairs. Monitors specific performance indicators to make sure the customer experience exceeds expectation while running a safe and efficient shop by performing the following duties. |
| Duties: | Communicates with the customer, either by phone or in person, to determine customer's concerns, problems or needs - present and future - while maintaining a high degree of professionalism. · Initiates work orders in the computer by gathering important details regarding the customer and the equipment being serviced, including warranty and/or billing information and developing the customer complaint to aid in diagnosis. · Stays in close contact with customers during the course of the transaction and documents all communications with the customer including price quotes, authorizations received, payment terms and special customer requests. · Completes work orders by accurately documenting all work performed, then processes customer payments in any of the acceptable forms, assuring that credit and warranty policies are followed. · Coordinates and dispatches mobile technician response to various customer sites, assuring rapid repairs to vehicles. · Creates parts orders for service jobs sold resulting in accurate accounting of inventory levels and customer invoices. · Procures all parts not in-stock needed to repair customers' equipment and issues related purchase orders; receives and disperses all vendor-supplied parts for remote repairs. · Maintains accurate inventory of stock parts. · Invoices customers for all work performed.
